On Friday, 18th June 2010 Frank Kirke, musician supreme and dedicated teacher (in Newbridge, Co. Kildare) arrived in Millstreet for what he thought would be a quiet family get together at the Wallis Arms Hotel. Instead there was a surprise 50th Birthday Party arrranged where not only family but also many friends has assembled to honour this true gentleman who formerly lived at West End, Millstreet and was a wonderfully talented member of Millstreet Pipe Band. After a splendid meal and speech the night continued with a marvellous music session in McCarthy’s Bar at the Square. Here we share some images below of the very happy occasion.
