Margaret’s Wonderful 100th Birthday Margaret Radley (nee Linehan) celebrated with her many relatives and friends her 100th Birthday on Tuesday, 21st September 2010 at Kingston-upon-Thames near London. Margaret, a native of Ballinamona near Mitchelstown was married to the late Denis Radley of Millstreet and has lived in Chessington, Surrey for many years. Margaret still has her same wonderful Irish accent and is ever-cheerful with that truly superb laugh which uplifts all in her company. She is Aunt to local Millstreet people - Marie Carroll (nee Radley), Killarney; John, Tommy and Denis Radley, Dungarvan as well as Denis & Tadhg Murphy, Ballydaly. Niece, Breeda Condon of Mitchelstown presented President McAleese's cheque of almost two and a half thousand Euro to Margaret and read the President's wonderful letter sent especially to Margaret from Áras an Uachtaráin. Margaret's daughter, Johanna, presented the Queen's card to her Mum. Highlights of the historic occasion will be broadcast on LTV2 Millstreet. (Seán Radley for www.millstreet.ie)
