Dia is mhuire diobh go leir a cairde and welcome to news Report 1037 from Millstreet.

Fondest greetings dear listeners and I wish you all the very best on this damp and overcast Tuesday morning.

Our town was a blaze of colour and spooks on Friday night last for the Halloween  Fancy Dress Ball which was held at the Wallis Arms Hotel. It only gets better every yea. It’s as though people welcome the chance to dress in the most outrageous outfits just this once, every year. Costumes went from the sublime to the ridiculous and all for good causes. Organised by the Aubane social club the proceeds will be divided among the local Community Hospital, the Aubane Social Club and the Christmas Lighting of the Town. So well one to the organisers and to all who gave it their support.
