Great money was raised for great causes here again this past week. In Cullen they held a Style Coaching Evening in aid of Crumlin Hospital for sick Children. Tickets were all sold out well in advance of the night and it proved to be a gala event. We will reveal the financial outcome as soon as it comes to hand.
And still with Cullen, their Young at Heart Pre-Christmas outing takes place to the Glen Eagle Hotel, Killarney this Friday night November 16th. Bus leaving Cullen at 5.30.
Mary Buckleys Fundraiser for Bother Climbed to €780 and was sent off right away to help send Goats to Africa..
OurParishChurchwas full on Wednesday night last for the wonderful Teen Spirit Concert. Students from all the parishes in our Pastoral area took part. There was singing and music and dancing all with a spiritual air and it held the large crowd in awe. Well done to the organisers and to all who took part.
Our Community Singers attended the Vigil Mass on Saturday night and were very well received by the large crowd, Their next outing will be to our local Hospital later in the Month.
It being the month of the Holy Souls, Canon John blessed all our cemeteries on Sunday following the 11.30 Mass.
The Self-Build Exhibition at the Green Glens Arena, drew great crowds to the town over the weekend. Entries were well up to past years and businesses and services in the town did well as a result.
Many congratulations to young Eoin McCaul, son of Aidan, and Grandson of the popular Aiden, who competed in the U11 Junior Master Mind Contest which was aired on TV3 at the weekend. He was pipped by just one mark from advancing to the next stage. But did very well just the same.
Annual 45Drive in aid of our local Hospital will be held at the Green Glens Arena on Saturday December 8th.
Millstreet Twinning committee will hold their Church Gate collection this weekend November 17/18th
Table Quiz in aid of local charities will be held at McCarthys Bar this Friday November 16th starting at 9.
The launch of the Aubane DVD of their Centenary Celebrations take place at their Social Club this Friday Nov. 16th starting at, 8.30 and all are welcome.

Minor C County Final in the Camogie Grounds, Castle Road, Cork on Saturday 10th November.
They beat Sliabh Rua, Riverstick on a score of 13-10 to 4-08.

Millstreet GAA hosted its annual Dinner Dance at a pleasant function hosted in the Dromhall Hotel, Killarney last Saturday night. Teams received medals for hurling and football triumphs following a very rewarding season
