The death has occurred of Teresa Murphy (Minor Row, Millstreet and formerly of Knocknakilla): On July 7, 2013, in the tender loving care of the wonderful staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Nursing Home, Kilcummin, Teresa (NT), sister to the late Kitty O’Neill. Deeply regretted by her sisters Hannah O’Leary, Anne Kelleher and brother Danjoe, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at Tarrant’s Funeral Home, Millstreet with rosary this Sunday evening at 9pm. Removal on Monday at 8.30pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet.
All the Murphy’s have been in my thoughts and prayers ever since William called me with the sad news of Aunt Teresa passing. The last time I was in Ireland Teresa called me and left a message on my phone that I saved. I have listened to her message dozens of times in the past three days just to hear her voice. I know she is in heaven with my Mom and Dad. I will always remember her positive outlook and her deep Catholic faith. I will end this message they way Aunt Teresa would by saying “God Bless”.
Sheila – your first cousin, Seán Murphy and the Murphy Family have asked me to indicate that a recording of the Mass will be forwarded to you at whatever address you provide. I was privileged to have lived in Minor Row, Millstreet for many years – the same street where Teresa also lived. She was such a sincerely wonderful neighbour, always caring, friendly, superbly dedicated to her Teaching Vocation and inspiringly generous in every respect. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a haman dílis. (May the Good Lord bless her noble Soul).
