“I regret to announce that Nibbles food emporium is to cease trading with immediate effect.
As a small family business and with 14 years history in Millstreet, it has been a difficult and emotional decision. It has been a hugely rewarding experience and my great pleasure to serve all of our dear customers. Unfortunately during the past few months due to a problematic broken ankle and other minor health reasons, this difficult decision had to be made.
To all my loyal customers, I thank you very much for all of your kindness, support and friendship for so many years. With you I have enjoyed so many positive experiences and memories that I will cherish in my heart forever.
To all of my employees, I have been so privileged to work with you all over the years. We worked together as a team and due to all of your hard work, diligence, and great ideas, we achieved great successes. For this I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I especially wish to thank Jerry & James O Leary for their continuous support and encouragement and I express my warmest appreciation and sincere gratitude and for being part of the Nibbles journey. Finally I wish to thank all of my suppliers, colleagues, friends and the local community all of whom have been a vital part of the Nibbles story.
I close the doors of Nibbles with many fond memories of my years, particularly of the longstanding and unconditional support of family, friends, customers, suppliers and the Millstreet community both at home and further afield. Thank you all for the memories. ” – Eleanor

We wish Eleanor the very best in the future. Her lovely cakes cakes, hospitality, and more have been sorely missed for the last few months. Hopefully someone else can pick up the mantle for a service that is needed in town.
Eleanor…Sincere thanks for your beautifully worded notice which you’ve kindly shared on our Millstreet website. We very much regret hearing that “Nibbles” is closing. So many people over the past fourteen years have truly enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere of “Nibbles” with its superbly friendly, obliging and cheerful Staff – with its delicious food and refreshing drinks. It became a favourite centre for so many Groups and International Visitors who loved its uplifting ambience and its sincere welcome and being aware of the many richly deserved Awards accorded to “Nibbles”. We wish you, Eleanor, a very speedy recovery and may the future bring lots of happiness, fulfilment and success. Rath Dé ar d’obair iontach. Míle buíochas.
I am so sad to hear this. I was an au Pair in Millstreet 14 years ago with a food allergy and you had the best gluten-free bread and cookies ever. I never found a bakery as good as yours again. I wish you all the very best for your future. Get well soon. All the best Rella from Germany
