  1. For his easy going ways and good Nature he was loved and known
In the passing of Jerry Horgan Ballydaly has lost one of it’s own
One who never harmed anyone in any sort of a way
In Ballydaly he died where he first saw light of day

He and his late wife Peggie in Ballydaly their family did raise
And though perhaps he was in his eighties and had known of better days
In his many friends and his family and relations good memories of him will live on
But sad to think from west of Millstreet one more good person has gone

In him his late father and mother did raise a good son
And in his lifetime Jerry Horgan never harmed anyone
He deserves to be remembered as he would help you if he could
He was one of those kind people who in him had a lot of good

In Millstreet in the Cemetery of St Mary’s in view of Cashman’s hill
His heart that beat with kindness sad to say forever still
He was born and raised in Ballydaly and there lived out his lifetime span
A role model to many he lived as a generous man.
