DIVINE MERCY NOVENA will commence after Good Friday ceremonies and will continue for 9 days at 3.00p.m. each day in the Church finishing on Divine Mercy Sunday (28^th April).

Community Notices

• ANNUAL EASTER SUNDAY COMMEMORATION will take place after 11.30a.m. Mass on this Sunday (21^st) in the Square. Guest speaker will be Margaret Buckley, retired teacher of English & history in Millstreet Community School. Dick Dineen will lay the wreath and Millstreet Pipe Band will also be in attendance.

• MILLSTREET GRAMOPHONE CIRCLE will meet on next Friday (26^th) in Canon O’Donovan Centre at 8.15p.m. On this occasion it’s “Listeners’ Choice” where we invite people attending to share a favourite tune or song on a CD which they are welcome to bring along to the meeting. All are very welcome.

• PUBLIC TALK on depression on Wednesday 24^th April at 8.00p.m in Millstreet Parish Centre. Guest speaker will be Ella B, motivational speaker & author. Bookings & further information (085) 8205023

• SUSI INFORMATION CLINIC in the Citizens Information Centre, Macroom, on 25^th & 30^th April between 10.00 & 1.00p.m. and 2.00 & 7.00p.m.

• ANNUAL MASS AT KILCORNEY GROTTO on Tuesday 7^th May at 7.30p.m.

Anyone interested in helping with the ongoing upkeep of the grotto are invited to a meeting in Rathcoole School on Wednesday 1^st May at 8.00p.m.

• PARISH OFFICE will be closed until next Friday.

As we conclude our Easter Ceremonies, I wish to thank everyone who assisted in anyway during the past week. I thank most sincerely the priests who concelebrated our ceremonies, those who prepared our Churches, participated and attended our ceremonies and helped make them so meaningful for our Parish. I welcome home all who have travelled to be with their families this Easter Season and we keep in our thoughts and prayers those who are not with us.
