A very important Community Council meeting which was deferred last week will be held tonight at the Wallis Arms Hotel starting at 8.30. Garda Paul Lynch will attend.
Our Millstreet Got Talent Festival got off to a great start in Carriganima on Saturday Night. As usual the renowned village pub excelled itself following the Saturday evening Mass. Their evening’s program also included a fundraiser for the local Bus service CART.
So the next heat at McCarthys Bar on this Friday night November 24th, and please don’t miss it for a great night out. Tarrants Bar on November 25th. The Bush Bar on December 1st. And the Clara Inn on December 2nd.
Our Camogie Club are doing extremely well over the past number of months and now its celebration time. They are having a gala social at the Killarney Avenue Hotel on December 28th. Tickets are on sale at €20 each. For details contact 086 873 97 68.
Further to that the Club will have their annual night at the Wallis Arms Hotel for the young girls on January 20th. Please give them your best support .
The Millstreet Christmas Market will be held at the GAA Hall on next Sunday November 26th from 12noon to 5pm. The place to go to meet up with friends have a cup’o tea, buy a Christmas prezzy and lots more. Proceeds will go to the Christmas lights for the Town.
And still with Christmas prezzies something new down at the other end of town, in the place in between the Aroma Café and Super Valu store. It’s called a Pop Up Shop on Saturday December 2nd. Household items, jam, gifts, jewellery etc plus a raffle for seasonal items. And all proceeds to go to the Pancreatic Cancer research fund at the Mercy Hospital ,Cork.
And something new again, on Nov. 28th we will have a Work Shop on Holy Wells, given by Dr Richard Scriven from the Department of Geography UCC. It will be held at the Parish Centre on Tuesday November 28th opening at 8. All Welcome.
Millstreet Parents Association, will hold their Church gate collection this weekend Nov 25/26 . Please give them your best support.
Here are the results of this week’s parish lotto draw which was held at the MalPasso Bar on Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 1,16,19,23 and the Jackpot was not won.

The Duhallow Choral Group will present a Christmas Concert in our Parish Church on Friday December 8th starting at 8. Tickets available in the shops. Proceeds will go to our local Hospital Fund.
The annual Women’s Christmas Party will be held at the Wallis Arms hotel on January 6th. Always a gala night out for the girls of all ages. Music by the popularKelt. Tickets at €25 are on sale at the Hotel. Get yours early to avoid disappointment.
The Aubane Social Club have their usual full program of events for the Christmas period. Christmas Mass and Party December 1st. Recital of Rosary December 12th at 8, Set Dancing Party December 18th.
Annual Christmas Day climb of Mushera Mountain on Christmas Day. Round the fire singing session on Dec. 28 at 8.
The Cullen and District Special Needs association will hold their annual Christmas Mass and Party on Saturday December.2nd.
