This lovely message from our Parish Priest, Canon John Fitzgerald was included in our Mass leaflet at the weekend and it says. My sincere thanks to all who participated in our Easter Ceremonies, those who helped to prepare our Churches and for all those who attended ceremonies and helped to make them so meaningful for our Parish.
I welcome home all who have travelled to be with their families this Easter Season and we keep in our thoughts those who are not with us.
In return we want to thank the members of our clergy for a wonderful Easter Season. We are so fortunate to have such a fine group of priests on the wings as it were, to help out at busy times. Frs. Paddy O‘Byrne, Billy Radley,Sean Tucker, Con Kiely, and of course Canon John from over the road in Boherbue. For me at least its a joy because I knew their parents and families before them, and always look upon them as one of our own.
