and musical journey of Pat Lynch, one of Cork’s greatest showband stars, who passed away in January last.
Known in his teens as ‘Cork’s Fred Astaire’, Pat Lynch was born in Bantry,
but grew up in Blackpool in Cork – a member of a very gifted musical family.
Becoming lead singer with the ‘Airchords Showband’, Pat Lynch had a number one hit records in the Irish and Polish charts.
