THANK YOU

Just a short note to acknowledge the work that is being done by Deirdre, Edel and our Church Choir in providing us with both live and “virtual”playing during our weekend and daily Masses, Stations of the Cross and our monthly Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.  Your dedication and commitment is truly appreciated.

AS WE CONTINUE OUR LENTEN JOURNEY

As we continue our Lenten journey, we do so in the midst of a lot of turmoil in our world.  During this coming week perhaps, we could focus on Pope Francis’s message of encouragement for all families:

The family is a great training ground for the mutual giving and forgiving without which no love can last for long.  There is a simple secret to healing wounds and avoiding recriminations.  It is this: do not let the day end without apologizing, without making peace between husband and wife, between parents and children, between brothers and sisters – build bridges, not walls.”

As we continue Sacramental preparation in our Parish, we ask God to guide our parents and teachers as they show the true meaning of forgiveness and love to our children and may all our families continue to be protected during these times.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

Prayer is a state of mind

where an amazing exchange happens.

We hand over our worries to God

and He hands over His blessings to us.
