The high winds and lashing rains in the latter days of last week put many homes, buildings and trees to the test, but thankfully apart from a few loose slates and broker bushes, we stood up quiet well to the test. And the milder temperatures made a welcome change from the sub-zero kind that we’d almost got used to.
Those of you who supported the Baby Jacob fund in the past should look up the Millstreet website and see the adorable little toddler taking his first steps. His treatment is ongoing thanks to your support and even though he will never see, he will get all the help he needs to lead a full and rewarding life.

You will see Aubane’s Tim Lehane leap for joy, at the National Stadium in Dublin after winning the All Ireland Boxing Championships, in his class, recently.

At recitation, Jerry Doody as well as the question time team. The Millstreet pair progress to county final in Ovens on Sunday, February 20.
