Bernard O’Donoghue Presents A Superb Gramophone Selection
Cousin Patricia Guerin (second from left) is pictured with her relations following the magnificent Gramophone Circle presentation tonight (Fri. 19th Aug. 2011) at the Canon O'Donovan Cente, Clara Road, Millstreet. Professor Bernard enthralled the enthusiastic audience with his wonderful selection of music (and poetry) and his very interesting stories, oftentimes humorous, as he introduced the various wide ranging selections. Bernard was especially thrilled to have Mrs. Rita Hickey in the audience. It was Mrs. Hickey who was his English teacher and whose inspiration was very significant in his later international achievements.
