A very important meeting of LTV2 was held at the Canon O Donovan Centre last night. Dan Joe Kelleher attended. Among the items for discussion was the very future of the LTV2 in light of the changes that are about to come with the onset of digital TV. But also the financial future of the station is causing problems. Lots of finance will be needed if we are to resume programs in the Fall of the year. Outside help is urgently needed and we are appealing to people to please find a way for LTV2 to continue. In spite of the fact that all those involved are working on a voluntary basis, it still costs €200 to produce each program.

Local TV is important, especially those living alone in remote areas and the thought of depriving them of their weekly entertainment doesn’t bear thinking. So please help.

Further meetings will be held.
