Killeagh Visitors Enjoy Millstreet Experience on Thursday

Forty-three visitors from Killeagh and Inch in East Cork pictured at Green Glens enjoying the Millstreet Experience on Thursday, 12th July 2012.    The visit began in Millstreet Country Park followed by Tubrid Holy Well, a Pony Show at Green Glens, St. Patrick’s Church and Drishane.  (S.R.)

Finbarr Motherway superbly coordinated the day-long visit.   All were thrilled to be met by Noel C. Duggan at Green Glens where he accorded a royal welcome.   The enthusiastic visitors were very impressed by so many aspects of the very memorable trip to Millstreet.   A number of people indicated direct connections with the area including a member of the O’Shea Family who now resides in the Youghal area.    Our sincere thanks to James O’Sullivan, the Duggan Family, Jackie Kent and Helen Daly for helping us to make such a success of the special occasion.    (S.R.)
