Eily’s Helicopter Birthday Surprise!
Wednesday, 24th April 2013 was Eily Buckley’s 80th Birthday. To very especially mark such a wonderful occasion Eily’s family organised a surprise helicopter trip from Cork Airport to West Cork and to Kilmeedy Castle, Millstreet today. Seán Murphy and I were alerted and we went to Kilmeedy Castle to await the fly over of Eily and Pilot over the Castle. This we recorded for tonight’s Prog. 217 of LTV2 which will also be available online over the next few days. Although the helicopter did not land in Millstreet undoubtedly Eily was waving to us all from the new heights she had reached today!
