One of the nicest things that was held here last week was the Station Mass at the home of Domnic and Kathryn Cronin, for Liscahane, Mount Leader and Geararoe. Canon John celebrated the Mass. A very large crowd attended and it was all held out of doors in brilliant weather.
The evening sun shone across the valley lighting up all the beauty spots along the way. Following the Mass the people sat around and chatted and enjoyed some wonderful refreshments, while the sun went down like a ball of fire. The Station Mass was said to coincide with their son Adrian’s trip home from Australia. He returns there in the near future and will have a wealth of happy memories of his holiday.
Many Congratulations to Declan Cronin of the same family who got engaged to the lovely Tracy McSweeney, Dromsicane. Canon John blessed them both and the ring at the end of the Station Mass.
