ADVENT TALK: Elma Walsh, mother of the late Donal Walsh (Tralee) will speak in Teach Iosagain on this Monday (16th) at 8.00p.m. The theme of the night: “The Welcoming Church – A Source of Hope

DIOCESE OF KERRY:  Tuesday 9th December saw the publication of the Review of Safeguarding in the Diocese of Kerry.  The report is welcomed by Bishop Ray Browne who has given a firm commitment to implement the report’s recommendations.  The Bishop’s statement and the full report are available to read on the Diocese’s website:  www.dioceseokerry.ie.

PENITENTIAL SERVICES

In preparation for Christmas a Penitential Service will be held in Millstreet Church on  this Tuesday (17th ) from 7.00 to 8.00p.m. The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed in the Church for that hour.  Visiting priests will be available for Confessions.

v      CULLEN & DISTRICT SPECIAL NEEDS ASSOCIATION wish to thank all who contributed to the great success of our Annual Christmas Mass & Party

v      MILLSTREET CREDIT UNION Annual General Meeting on Thursday 19th December at 8.00p.m in the Credit Union Building.  All welcome.

v      HOMELESS APPEAL 2013:  It’s that time of year again to remember those who need our help.  Food for the food parcels can be dropped in at O’Regans Mill.

v      MILLSTREET COMMUNITY SCHOOLChristmas Language Fest on Thursday 19th Dec at 2.40p.m. in School library.  Admission free.  Cake Sale on Saturday 21st December after 6.30p.m. Mass in the GAA Hall.  Proceeds for 5th year students going to Lourdes at Easter 2014.

v      MILLSTREET GAA FUN RUN/WALK:  St. Stephen’s Day starting at GAA Hall at 11.00a.m.

v      EVENING OF CHRISTMMAS SONGS in Clondrohid Hall on 21st December at 8.00p.m.

v      CHRISTMAS THOUGHT CARDS are available after all Masses in the Sacristy or in the Parish Office.  All returned cards will be place on our Church Christmas Trees for the Christmas Season.  €5.00 for 3 cards.

v      THERE WILL BE A SPECIAL COLLECTION AT ALL CHRISTMAS MASSES FOR OUR PARISH RESTORATION FUND.  WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT.
