Dennehy Tim (Killeena, Knockraha and late of Murphy’s Terrace, Millstreet) on September 29th, 2015 peacefully at home in the loving care of his family. Beloved husband of Marie (née Twomey) and loving father of Celine, Gerard, Gillian and Brian. Sadly missed also by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, his extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reception into St Mary’s Church, Knockraha at 7pm on Wednesday. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am. Cremation afterwards at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Marymount University Hospital and Hospice. May he. rest in peace.

Those who knew Tim Joe Dennehy do fondly recall
That as a young man for Millstreet he played Gaelic Football
It is so sad to learn that the farewell bell has tolled
For the once dashing forward of the green and gold
In Murphy’s Terrace in Millstreet he grew into a man
But his life journey ended many kilometers from where it began
In Knockraha where he lived with his family and wife
The amiable Tim Joe lived out his life
In his late sixties when he passed away
But on how long we live we do not have a say
A painful terminal illness on his once strong and healthy body told
Suppose he was one not meant to live to die old
On long gone Summer Sundays when Nature was in bloom
In the football parks of Coachford and Macroom
For the dashing forward Tim Joe Dennehy the cheering was loud
Always a favorite of the Millstreet fans in the crowd
An amiable person well liked and well known
One can say of Tim Joe he was in a class of his own
His suffering behind him and in truth one can say
For all of us there will be a last night and day.

Thanks fd.we go back awile.tim j had great sense of humour.always told me he was much better footballer the me.he was probably right.will miss him from our 65 minor team.3
Our family would like to thank the people of Millstreet for their support over this difficult time.
We were overwhelmed with the amount of people who made the long journey to Knockraha to pay their respects to Tim Joe.
We will never forget your kindness.
