Peter’s Pence Collection next Weekend: Easter weekend 3rd / 4th April This collection supports the ministry of the Pope in his task of uniting the many different strands of the Church and enables the many charitable initiatives promoted by the Holy Father.
Masses in Millstreet: this week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday only at 10.00 a.m. each morning unless there is a funeral.
Masses in Cullen: Monday 7.30 p.m. Tuesday 10.00 a.m. & Wednesday 10.00 a.m.
Communion Calls to the Sick & Housebound: Fr. Declan will make his usual calls to the Sick & Housebound in his area for the month of April on Thursday afternoon next (April 1st ). Should anybody else wish a visit please feel free to call on him.
TIME CHANGE: Remember to put clocks forward 1 hour on this Saturday night for Summer time. Please note there will no change in Mass times in our Parish.
Spring Dues in Green: Mίle Buίochas to you who have already handed in your Spring / Easter Dues (Green Envelopes) which supports your priests. Should you not have received a box of envelopes please inform the Parish Office and we can get one sent to you. There may be other householders who do not take a Parish Capital Box but would be willing to take the envelopes that support your priests – you may collect a green envelope at the back of the church. You may drop in your Spring Dues envelope into the Offertory Box, at your Station Mass should one be held or drop directly into the Parish Office. Whatever way you do it, or whatever contribution, it is deeply appreciated. Many Thanks for your kindness and support. May God reward you.
Trocaire Offerings: Please return your Trocaire Lenten Contribution to the Church during the Week and place in the special box in the church. It would facilitate us greatly if you put your offering into the special envelope that was in the Trocaire package . Check out the work of Trocaire on www.trocaire.ie . Many thanks for your generosity.
Do this in Memory of Me programme: The children & Parents of our First Holy Communion classes are asked to come to Mass of the Last Supper of your church on Thursday next at 8.00 p.m. to continue their programme.

v Vintage Family Fun Day on easter sunday: All plans are under way for the big day for our Parish in the ‘Green Glens’ on Easter Sunday. Many thanks to the many people who have offered to help on the day. Also thanks to you who have purchased and sold tickets for the Grand Draw. Tickets are again available at back of the church to take away to sell to your friends and relatives. The Committee Members are really appreciative of all your support and please return all ‘stubs’ to the Parish Office as soon as possible.

Invitation from our Bishop- Come to the Chrism Mass on Tuesday night
‘Just as your priests have been present at times of significance and commitment in your life – Baptism, First Penance and Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, Funerals, – as your Bishop, I invite you to join with me to pray for us, your priests as we renew our ordination commitment to grow in the likeness of Christ and to give our lives in service at the Chrism Mass which tales place in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Killarney on Tuesday next, March 30th at 7.30 p.m. There will be refreshments afterwards.

Passion Sunday Reflection
Jesus said:’ I am the Good Shepherd; the good shepherd lays down his life for his sheep’.
Jesus did not have to suffer and die. He had a choice.
He choose to suffer and die because he cared about the flock God had entrusted to him. What Jesus wants from us is not our suffering, but a life of love and service.
Such a life will inevitably bring suffering.
But Jesus supports all those who follow him down the road of faithful and generous service.
