General Election 2011 – LTV Broadcast on 21st, 22nd & 23rd February

LTV Local Television will broadcast a special Gerneral Election 2011 Programme on Monday, 21st February at 7.30 p.m. (time yet to be fully confirmed) where all participating Candidates who wish to share their thoughts will be given equal time opportunity on the transmission. The very same recorded programme will be repeated on the following two nights at the same time. Programme Co-ordinator is LTV's Dan Joe Kelleher.

LTV2 Millstreet Interview with Midwest Radio’s Michael Commins

Crowley of LTV2 Millstreet has just uploaded the very special interview we recorded with Midwest Radio Presenter Supreme, Michael Commins.   It can be accessed on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwCk-fxp-Bw .   We thank Bernard for arranging this and William Fitzgerald also from our LTV2 Team who was cameraman on the occasion at the “Hazel Tree”  in Mallow.   Michael also edits a wonderful “Country Sounds” feature weekly in the “Farmers Journal”.    One may tune into his excellent radio show on Midwest Radio on Wednesdays from 11.00 p.m. and on Sundays from 10.00 p.m. on Internet Radio.   It is also possible to view his studio show in live stream video on the Midwest Radio website.

Energy Awareness Day at Millstreet Library until 3.30 p.m. Today

A truly excellent Exhibition for Energy Awareness Day is being held today, 1st February 2011 (St. Brigid's Day) at Millstreet Library where all are invited to view and acquire wonderfully helpful leaflets and brochures and to discuss energy issues. The final Exhibition for the moment takes place in Cobh on Tuesday, 8th Feb. 2011 from 10.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m..

We have just received this truly magnificent picture of Terns Taking Flight from Gerard O'Meara, Mallow - the superbly gifted and renowned Photographer whose work over the years has featured in highly prestigious publications, numerous exhibitions and whose recent book of Mallow related pictures of past decades proved hugely popular.
