Coffee Morning proceeds presented to Marymount Hospice

Cork North West Branch of MS Ireland will be marking the day by attendance at a special event in Cork City.   Over coming weeks a number of church gate collections will take place within the overall Duhallow area.   The support of the public is greatly appreciated regarding this very worthy cause.

Anne Casey Joy Memorial Classic Car Run 2012

On Saturday, 26th May 2012 all makes and models of classic cars will head off on a 90 mile route tour of the mountains of Kerry on the Anne Casey Joy Memorial Classic Car Run 2012 to raise awareness and funds for the Multiple Sclerocis Society of Ireland.

Starting this year from the GLENEAGLE hotel @ 11am.

Anthony Barry’s Very Impressive Success in Cullen Weight Loss Programme

Losing a hugely impressive 51lbs over the 10 week Cullen & District Special Needs Association's Weight Loss Programme, Anthony Barry of Millstreet received great praise on such an amazing achievement. Dr. Pat Casey even suggested that Conor Counihan could well have a Cork Team possibility in Anthony considering such excellent fitness! Anthony also received a further trophy for having collected one of the highest amounts of money for the praiseworthy cause.
