Niamh’s Veterinary Physiotherapy

Hi all,

I am local to the area and just wanted to put up a post to let people know of the Veterinary Physio services that I offer for both dogs and horses. These sessions consist of a full assessment of your animal to identify any issues as well as taking into consideration any concerns and/or injuries that your pet may have. Treatment will consist of therapeutic exercises, manual techniques and everything in between.

Why choose Physiotherapy for your dog or horse?

💜 Expertise: I hold a Masters degree in veterinary Physiotherapy, providing experience, knowledge and a passion for animal wellness.
💜 Compassion: I treat every pet like family, providing gentle care and unwavering support for both animal and owner
💜 Results: Physio has been used in human medicine for decades, with amazing results so why not give your pet the same experience!

What does a veterinary physiotherapist do?

🐾 Provide comprehensive assessments of your pet to assess the best treatment plan
🐾 Create a customised treatment plan for both during sessions and at home, for optimal results.
🐾 Offer a collaborative approach with veterinarians for the best integrated care
🐾 Carry out a variety of therapeutic exercises and manual techniques
🐾 Maintain and build on an animals level of health/fitness
🐾 Conservatively manage specific conditions/injuries using physiotherapy instead of surgery
🐾 Provide rehabilitation after surgery or injury
🐾 Chronic pain can be treated and managed using Physiotherapy
🐾 Competition animals can be maintained and strengthened to achieve their optimum ability
🐾 Electrotherapies can be utilised to aid in all of the above

Feel to reach out if you have any questions! ❤️

Festive Greetings 2024 from Millstreet Website Team

As we approach the beginning of 2025 , on behalf of the entire Millstreet Website Team, may I express sincere thanks to all those who have remained loyal to visiting our local website on a very regular basis and who have extended much appreciated positive comments regarding its value and its interest to many, especially to the numerous Millstreet people living abroad.  Because this long established local website is an entirely voluntary service, our wish for the New Year is that this spirit of spontaneous volunteering will continue and will even further develop.   Every Blessing and Joy throughout a wonderfully Healthy and Bright 2025.   We share a selection of images reflecting recent local events.  Tap on the images to enlarge.  (Seán Radley on behalf of All the Millstreet Website Team).
