A Fleadh to Remember for Leah
Leah Murphy from Laught had some weekend at the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Drogheda. Firstly on Saturday she was part of the mighty Crossfield Ceili Band that won first place in the U18 Céili Band competition (Marie O’Neill, Anna Buckley, Darragh Twomey, Aubane, were also members of the band). Then on to Sunday, and with three solo competitions to play in, she got placed in all three!! 2nd place in Fiddle Slow Airs, 2nd place in English Singing, and 3rd place in Rogha Ghléas. Mighty going , we’re delighted and so proud 🎶 🎻 👍 😀 😀
