The presentation of prizes to the players on the first three teams in both the Sing Cup and the Aidan Burke Memorial Trophy competitions will take place in the G.A.A. Hall on Saturday July 20th at 7.30 p.m.

Millstreet Pitch & Putt Club

Aidan Burke Memorial Trophy Competition continues on Monday July 15th, Tuesday July 16th and Wednesday July 17th at 7 p.m.   Teams as advertised last week. Anyone who played last week doesn’t need to play again.

    Presentation of prizes for both Sing Cup and  Aidan Burke Memorial Trophy team competitions postponed to Saturday July 20th

in G.A.A. Hall at 7.30 p.m.   Annual Church Gate Collection takes place on week-end 20th / 21st July.

Millstreet Golf Society – Outing on Saturday, 6th July 2013

Millstreet Golf Society have an outing to Kanturk GC on Saturday 6th  July.   Tee time is from 11:00 to 13:00.  The 2013 “Sing” Cup Team Competition will take place on Monday June 24th, Tuesday June 25th and Wednesday June 26th commencing at 7 p.m. There are eight players on each team with the best three scores at each hole to count.  You may play at any one of the above times.

In the Cork City Half Marathon, times for the Millstreet runners were: Josephine Creedon 1:39:56, Con Twomey 1:44:23, Sharon Kiely 1:48:41, Sheila Tarrant – 02:00:46, and Meave O’Sullivan – 2:04:23.
In the Relay Race, Tony Kelleher was in the CIT AC team which finished 5th in a time of 2:36:55 [photo]

On Friday 1st, Donal Coffey won the Doneraile 5k in a time of 16:44, out of a field of 394 runners. [photo (bib #13)]

Connie Cotter wins Kanturk GC Captains Prize

Connie Cotter, winner of the Kanturk Golf Club Gents Captain Prize receives his Award from Kanturk Captain Michael Browne in the presence of supporters Matthew Dennehy, Padraig Sheehan and Michael Cotter.
