They also offer arts workshops, face painting, balloon modeling and family fun days around Munster. Next one is in Dromtarriffe Community Centre (on the N72 Near the Sandpit House Pub) 26th October 09 12pm to 5pm.

Hard luck to the Millstreet U16 hurlers, who were defeated in the Duhallow U16 League Final where they were defeated by South Kerry 5-14 to 2-13, after extra time.

At the end of the first quarter, South Kerry was leading by two points thanks to some accurate shooting by Dave O’Connor and Kevin Sullivan. The teams then exchanged points and it remained level until Millstreet got a goal just before half-time, who then went ahead by 3 at half time 1-5 to 5 points.
In the second half the intensity remained but was trailing by 3 points in the last quarter until Anthony Keogh finally found the Millstreet net with five minutes remaining. Both teams exchanged further points and finished level which forced the game into extra time. At the end of normal time it finished 1-10 apiece.
