The Clara Mountain Run is on this Sunday 18th April at 7pm. Starts on the Clara Road as normal. It’s a 6.2 km run and the top and back, with the top of Clara 352m above the starting point. For us mere mortals, it’s often hard enough to walk to the top … but these guys run up and down as fast as they can. Get out and support them and enjoy the atmosphere.

The weather has been so dry for the last week, and it’s been lovely, but the gorse will burn very quickly in this weather. The old saying “Rain rain go to Spain, and come back another day” is pretty apt these days. The weather in Spain is terrible at the moment!
