Rathmore Fair & Family Day 2010

Rathmore Fair & Family Day took place on Sunday, 26th Sept. 2010. It was a very colourful, busy and cheerful occasion with lots of music, buying and selling, a fancy dress parade and much more. Dromtariffe Active Retirement Members on Walk to Boeing

Marking National Heart Foundation Day on today, Sunday 26th Sept. 2010, members of the Dromtariffe Active Retirement Association participated in a very pleasant and healthy walk to the Boeing by the River Blackwater near Millstreet. With Ita Fitzgerald on camera we arranged to record a little feature for LTV2 Millstreet. Our thanks to Joe O'Connell for alerting us to the special event. (Seán)

Millstreet Celtic 1 – 0 Waterloo

26/Sept/2010 – Both teams were slow to get going in the first half and it took until the 25th min for the first half chance. A corner broke to Brian Murphy but his shot struck Tadhg Collins on the way and was cleared. At the other end Waterloo had a couple of half chances as well but the defence and keeper dealt with them well. The second half started much the same but we began to find a bit more space after the first 20 mins. Paul Dawson and Chris Cleary had chances but we had to wait until the 75th min to take the lead.
