Dia is mhuire diobh go leir a cairde and welcome to news report 1047 from Millstreet.

Fondest greetings dear listeners and I wish you all the very best on this Tuesday Morning .

Well the Kennelly Archives are certainly causing quite a stir in Millstreet and beyond. The Kennelly Archives are displayed on the Millstreet Website and they contain up to a hundred photographs taken at a dance in Millstreet in 1960. People from that time are glued to the screen trying to identify those on it. And there is an opportunity to buy the ones of your choice. Some people never seem to change. There are pictures of  courting couples  who went on to get married, others who were single,  all at the cross roads of life and thankfully, most of them are still with us to-day.

The Spring Farm Machinery Show will be held at the Green Glens Arena for three days this week, starting to-morrow Wednesday. Opening each day at noon and remaining open till ten each night.

The   people of Ballydaly, will hold a re-union of their  GAA teams past and present, at the Wallis Arms Hotel on this Friday January 21st .Music by the Kelt. Tickets at €25 each on sale over wide area.
