Cardinal Burke concelebrated Mass after 5.00 p.m. in Cullen. His Grandmother came from Lisnashearshane, Cullen (near Duarigle Castle). Window Display by Tidy Towns at Main Street, Millstreet

Mary O'Connor of Minor Row admires the very impressive window display at Justice's in Main Street. The window shows a selection of the many prestigious awards won by Millstreet Tidy Towns Association over the years. The perfect window setting has become famous when Justice's Bakery used to place the most delicious confectionary and bread on both windows. Gladly we still note that Geraldine still displays the wonderful "Hot Cross" buns at Lent and Easter annually. (S.R.)
