Last Man Standing is a game where you select one team to win from the coming weekends Premier League fixtures, if they win you are through to the next round, lose and you are out. The winner is the last man (or woman) standing.

Fondest greetings dear listeners and I wish you all the very best on this bright but cold and wintery Tuesday morning.

A very enjoyable function was held at the Clara Inn on Friday night last atwhich the proceeds of the fundraising efforts in memory of the late Jerry O Leary, was presented to the Oncology department of CUH. Over the past number of months since his untimely death, his family and friends have used different ways to raise funds in his honour, from a Coffee morning at his home in Rathcoole, to a monster auction and then a Vintage Day out of Drishane Castle. In all over €25,000 was raised. All those connected with this great venture have to be commended. And May the Lord reward their efforts.
