Kevin O’ Sullivan
Of Millstreet Town a lifetime resident for years he had lived on Main Street
Poor Kevin O’ Sullivan has gone to the Reaper he is one we will never more meet
He must have been into his eighties of human years his was a long span
But he is one we will remember for Kevin was a gentleman
In fact it can be said of him that he would not harm a fly
Quite friendly amongst people he knew though with strangers he felt a bit shy
One of the elder citizens of Millstreet one well loved and well known in the Town

Eddy And Delia Murphy Of Ballydaly
Eddy and Delia Murphy still breeding and racing greyhounds their dogs Ballydaly’s best
And their speedsters not found wanting when they are put to the test
Still winning races at the Cork track and as greyhound handlers their reputations grow
Their Ballydaly dogs have been winning open and graded races for as long as one would care to know.
It has been some while since Eddy had Poundy’s gift in the Oaks in Dublin at least five decades ago
Where the Ballydaly speedster her true worth did show
Then the great hope of old Duhallow she seldom knew defeat
In Cork track and in Dublin she was the one to beat.
