Due to an unexpected technical problem with the computer drive on which the various images from yesterday’s very successful Cloghoula N.S. Pattern Day have been stored and from which they cannot presently be accessed sincere apologies that the images cannot be shared at the moment.   Hopefully the technical difficulty can be solved, D.V..  (S.R.)

Air Ambulance Ireland Fundraiser

The organisers of the second annual Rathmore food fair held on Sunday last in Teach Iosagain May 20th  wish to thank everybody who supported it in any way. The Kerry Rose Ann Maire Hayes attended, Chef Mark Doe had a cooking demonstration. We also wish to thank Kilcummin Comhaitas, Sliabh Luachra Comhaitas, Biddy group, and we wish to thank Management of Teach Iosagain  for their help. The ticket draw was postponed due to the small amount of tickets sold. It will be held  on Saturday June 23rd at Teach Iosagain, Rathmore Co. Kerry.  At 8.30pm. Permit Extended by Garda Siochana – tickets bought will be entered into a special draw with a chance of winning a pair of All Ireland football final stand tickets 2012 with accommodation in Bewley’s Hotel Ballsbridge on the Saturday night of the All-Ireland, with evening meal and return rail tickets or Hospitality suite tickets for Killarney Races Ladies Day on July 19th 2012, or tickets to Michael Flatley’s Lord of Dance at INEC in July, or tickets to Cork racecourse Mallow. Digital Television – Don’t get Left Behind!

On October 24th 2012 you will no longer be able to use your TV aerial to receive the TV signal as you have since TV was introduced into Ireland in the 1950s. The signal will be changing to a digital service so you’ll need to be ready by then to ensure that you can still watch your favourite programmes. It’s easy to check whether you need to do something:

A. If you get your TV through a Pay-TV provider, like Sky or UPC, you’re ok!
