Cullen Pipe Band

In 1998 the Band won the All-Ireland Pipe Band Championships in Grade 4 and in 2007 won the

World Pipe Band championshipsin Grade 4 and in 2007 won the World Pipe Band championships in Grade 3B.

 As well as fulfilling many engagements locally, the band competes in Grade 2 and the development band competes in Grade 5.

Millstreet Parent and Toddler Group – Toddler’s Graduation

 On Tuesday June 19th the Parent and Toddler Group had their graduation for the toddlers who are leaving to commence playschool in September.

All the children looked splendid in their cap and gowns.   Thank you to everyone who attended and good luck to all the children who are

taking the next big step in their lives. We would also like to wish the new committee members the very best of luck when they reopen again in September.

A dogged Millstreet came from five points down to draw their U21 County Championship quarter-final tie at Inchigeela on Saturday night.
The drama didn’t end there though, as confusion reigned about whether extra-time would go ahead or not. However, it was confirmed the match would go to a replay and with daylight disappearing it was the right decision.
Bantry forged 1-5 to 0-3 ahead at the beginning of the second half and appeared to be in the driving seat. But Millstreet, with midfielder-cum-centre-forward Michael Vaughan spearheading their attack, refused to give in.
