TaeKwon-do: Jordan Dalton who trains for TaeKwon-do in the Millstreet GAA Hall, won gold at the TKD International European Championships, Saturday 28th October in Poland.

Athletics: at the Gerry Farnan Cross Country Race held in the Phoenix Park on 21st October, Donal Coffey finished in a time of 29:00 (well down the field, but it was an international qualifier, so a top quality race) [times]
At the Rebel Run (21st Oct) Tony Kelleher recorded a personal best to finish in second position out of a field of 471 runners, in a time of 34:12 for 10k. (photo right) [full times]
Greyhounds: Altobelli (Tom & Finbarr O’Leary) came in second in race 4 @ Curraheen Park on Oct 18th, a flat 330 (Grade : S3) in a time of 18.39. (video below)
Ballydaly Bid came home second in a time of 29.56 in race 7 The Carrigdhoun Carvery 525 09:20 Approx. (525 Yds. Flat) (Race Grade : A5) in Curraheen Park on Friday Oct 26th
Crossfield Star did enough to qualify from his first round heat of the St.Leger in Limerick on Saturday night (27th Oct) in a slow time of 30.67 (top four qualify from each heat) (Grade : AA0) Flat 550. The next round is on the coming Saturday night Nov 3rd. [see the full St.Leger draws]
Millridge Silver won his first round heat of the Aware Ireland Sweepstake (Grade : A5) Flat 525 in a time of 29.21 at Tralee greyhound track Saturday night 27th Oct.

2012 National Dairy Show Champion
The Frawley family from Limerick being presented with the trophy for their cow “Ridgefield Dundee Portea” who was crowned 2012 National Dairy Show Supreme Champion in the Green Glens, Millstreet, which was the 30th anniversary of the show.
Full show results are on the National Dairy Show website. This coming weekend sees the Owners Pony & Young Riders Charity Show in the Green Glens.
