Baoichas le Dia the High winds and heavy rains over the weekend left very little visible damage to the buildings and trees in our area, and even our roads stood up well to the torrential rains.
Our State of the Art E Centre was officially opened in the Town Square, opposite the Wallis Arms hotel on Wednesday January 23rd The honours being done the Lady Mayor of Cork County Barbara Murray. The pleasant function was also attended by Aine Collins TD as well as many members of Millstreet Community Council, Cork Co Council and members of our vibrant Development Group. LTV2 crew were there and recorded the important event for future viewing.
The Centre has a lot to offer all those who need a base to launch a career, host a course, or a meeting and so on.
And to set the ball rolling an event entitled “Be confident”, a discussion group will meet there to-morrow Wednesday morning from 11to12noon.
