Chaplain John Magee extends a warm welcome to Rev. David Armstrong and his wife, June at Millstreet Community School tonight.   The internationally renowned Rev. David who was so significant in “breaking the ice” during Northern Ireland’s years of challenge, delivered one of the most inspiring and moving talks ever heard in Millstreet before a wonderfully representative audience of many Christian Faiths.   We have recorded the magnificent address on both audio and video and with the very kind permission of Rev. GAA Scór: Well done to the Millstreet GAA Question Time team of John Tarrant, Jerry Doody and Pat Sheehan who won the semi final of Scór Sinsear in Ovens Saturday night (Feb 16th).

Death Notice: Frank O’Leary

The death has occurred on Sunday, February 24th 2013 of Frank O’Leary of Newmarket, Cork. Formerly of Lisaniska, Cullen. Peacefully. Ex Shreelawn and Mill Oils. Reposing at Tarrant’s Funeral Home, Millstreet today, Monday, from 6pm with removal at 8pm to the Church of Our Lady, Cullen. Requiem Mass tomorrow, Tuesday, at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, if desired, to Kanturk Community Hospital.
