Death Notice: Peg Healy, Murphy’s Terrace
The death has occurred on Sunday, March 17, 2013 of Peg Healy, (née Lynch) of Murphy’s Terrace, Millstreet. Reposing at Tarrant’s Funeral Home Millstreet, Monday from 6.00pm with removal at 8.00pm to Cullen church. Requiem mass on Tuesday at 12 noon and burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet.
Shearing for St.Patrick
Paddy O’Keeffe was spotted on the RTÉ Six-One news shearing the Sheep Car on the St.John’s GAA float at the Ballingeary St.Patricks Day Parade. St.John’s were promoting the upcoming All Ireland Sheep Shearing and Woolhandling Championships which they are organising and which will be held in the Green Glens on May 25th and 26th.
