- On Friday, 19th July 2013 in The Pub at Carriganima a truly marvellous night of celebration took place marking the Silver Wedding Anniversary of Bernie & Peter Lane of Cahirdowney, Millstreet. In the company of their daughter, Regina, and son, Conor, and a host of relatives and friends, live contact through skype was made with daughter Gretta in Australia. This was a first for The Pub to provide such amazing worldwide access to the joy of the capacity gathering who sent lots of messages to Gretta in Australia.
