Mark Ellis named at Centre Back for Cork

Local man Mark Ellis kindly took the time to pose for a photo with Mark Kelly Tullamore Co.Offaly.after the Cork versus Laois game in Portlaoise last nite.Mark is a proud Cork supporter and the grandson of Brendan an Margaret Bourke It’s just been announced that Millstreet hurler Mark Ellis has been picked at centre back (#6) for the Cork team that play Waterford at the weekend. It’s his championship debut, and I can’t remember when the last time (if ever) a Millstreet man played Championship hurling for Cork.

We’d like to wish Mark and the Cork team the very best next Sunday.
