And a fond Céad míle Fáilte ( hundred thousand welcomes) to all the people who are flooding into our town this week from all over the world for our International Summer Horse Show, which begins today and ends on Sunday evening. We sincerely hope they enjoy their stay.
On the national scale our little country is awash with tourists both from at home and abroad, this year, with hotels and guest houses giving some real value for money, and the exceptionally good weather, playing no small part either. This is Horse Show Week (12-17th August 2014)
This is Millstreet International Horse Show week and it starts today (Tuesday 12th) at 10:30am. Horse Trucks and Horseboxes have been rolling into the Green Glens since the gates opened yesterday morning.
We’d like to welcome everyone that comes to Millstreet this week, and hope you have a great time. There’s a record number of entries this year and schedules have been changing at this late stage to reflect this.
Hopefully the weather will cooperate. There’s a few showers forecast every day, but nothing too serious.
A visit to the Millstreet Horse Show is unmissable for the equestrian fanatic. Enjoy a day out watching the country’s best horses and riders. Admission is FREE and there is ample car parking available.
