High Speed Broadband

2014-11-24 Broadband Development Map 02The government today launched its strategy to get high speed broadband into all homes in the country. Cities and towns are due to be connected by 2016 while those of us in villages and the coutryside will be left behind and the government plan is to have those in place by 2020 (state substatised). Fortunately Millstreet town will be connected, but not an inch past the town limits. No villages like Cullen, Rathcoole, Dromagh, etc will be connected.  pictured right is the map of Millstreet with areas in blue being the parts that will be connected. Medjugorje Mass in Tralee Remembering Fr. Slavko on Monday at 7.30pm

Breda King has alerted us to the celebration of a Mass of Remembrance on the Anniversary of Fr. Slavko (Medjugorje) on this Monday night at 7.30 with Rosary beforehand and Adoration afterwards in the Bonsecours Chapel, Tralee.  (S.R.)

Millstreet Fire Brigade Educational Visit to Rathcoole Playschool

On Tuesday 18th Nov. 2014 Millstreet Fire Brigade paid an eduational visit to Rathcoole Playschool.   Paula and Michael gave the enthusiastic children a marvellous insight into the basic working of the impressive Fire Brigade unit and its essential equipment.
