2015 Outstanding Young Person Award
Congratulations to Joanne O’Riordan who along with 10 others picked up a National Outstanding Young Person Award for 2015 in Galway last Saturday (this photo and more from C103)

The Army Band is Back in Derinagree!
As reported here a short while ago, Derinagree National School will be awarded a 2nd Green Flag at a ceremony in Cork next week.. A delegation of 4 Green School Committee members will be charged with the responsibility of bringing the flag safely ‘home’.
Congratulations to the teachers, children & their families for their immense enthusiasm & hard work!
Celebrations of the ‘Flag Homecoming & Hoisting’ will take place on June 23rd at Derinagree School.
Our Special Guest of Honour will hoist the flag….. & guess what?……we have just received confirmation that THE ARMY BAND is BACK to help us raise the roof & celebrate in true Derinagree style!!
All are welcome. Do please keep June 23rd in mind. More details closer to the time.
