Dia is mhuire diobh go leir a cairde and welcome to News Report 1268 from Millstreet .
Fondest greetings dear listeners and I wish you all the very best on this calm, bright,T uesday morning.
Words can hardly describe the past weekend. Many well planned events had to be deferred or cancelled while people just looked out at the rain and storms. Silage-making which was in full swing was brought to a sudden stop, as the heavy rains lashed the land.
Our Canon FitzGerald thanked the Lord for blessing us with fine weather for the annual Mass at Tubrid Well last Friday evening. Which was attended by a huge crowd.
The annual pre-exams Mass will be said at Tubrid Well to-night. As always it will be celebrated by Fr.Kevin Mulcahy. Tomorrow the Enter Cert and Leaving Exams start all over the country and we wish the students God’s Blessing as we remind them that they can only do their best.
