Eurovision 1993 Flags Presented to Millstreet Museum by Michael Kennedy

Michael Kennedy of Dromod, Co. Leitrim and Curator supreme of the renowned Cavan and Leitrim Railway Museum (see website) has very kindly presented Millstreet Museum with a number of superbly preserved Eurovision Flags from 1993 Eurovision. How the flags got to Leitrim is most interesting and the story has been recorded for later transmission on radio ("Radio Treasures") and on television (LTV2 online). A million thanks to Michael who on Thursday night (3rd Sept. 2015) diverted his journey from Leitrim to Dungavan to deliver the precious flags to Millstreet. Click on the images to enlarge. (S.R.)
