On Wednesday night in Millstreet over a hundred people registered to receive crime text alerts from An Garda Siochana. The Launch (as part of Operation Thor) was jointly organised by Millstreet Community Council and Millstreet Gardai. Speakers included Superintendent Michael Fitzpatrick Macroom, Crime Prevention Officer Sergeant Ian O’ Callaghan Bandon, Sergeant Paul Lynch Millstreet and Community Garda John Crowley Millstreet. More Wind and Rain for the weekend
It’s safe to say that we’re pretty sick of all the bad weather at this stage, but with the arrival of Storm Desmond Met Eireann have issued a code red rain warning and a code orange wind warning for South Western counties, from this evening all through Saturday and into Sunday morning.
