Here are the results of this weeks Parish Lotto draw which was held at the Wallis Arms Hotel on Sunday Night. Numbers drawn were 6,16.24,31.and the Jackpot was not won. €100 went to Tadg Collins.The seller was Patsy Mac and he got €50 sellers prize. €50 went to Breda Tarrant Annagloor. €20each to theHealy Family Keale, Tim Long ,Inchees ,Sinead Flahive, Drishane Rd. Jerry O Connor, Liscreagh, Mary Cronin,Liscahane, Breda FitzGerald, Minor Row, Marie Lehane,Ballydaly, and Patsy Mac. Mount Leader.

The next Lotto Draw will be on Sunday January 10th 2016 .It will be held at Tarrants Bar, Jackpot €6.400.

 

The race continues to be ready for Christmas Day on Friday. Shops and services are reporting good trade and  our new Christmas lights in the town continue to bring joy. People home with their little ones are drawn to the monster teddy bear at the monument and line up for a photo right away.

Framed Pictorial History of Church Launched for Christmas 2015

At St. Patrick's Church, Millstreet after 10.00 a.m. Mass on Monday, 21st Dec. 2015 which was attended by the Pupils and Teachers of Scoil Mhuire, Millstreet B.N.S.
At St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet after 10.00 a.m. Mass on Monday, 21st Dec. 2015 which was attended by the Pupils and Teachers of Scoil Mhuire, Millstreet B.N.S., Canon John Fitzgerald, P.P. introduced the children (some of whom are pictured above with their Teacher – Ms. Norma Buckley) to a magnificent framed feature illustrating the history of the Church.   This had been presented by Dan Duggan (on right of Canon John) and has now been put in position by Dan at the entrance of the Church.   Included in our photograph also is Michael O’Rahilly.  Click on the images to enlarge.  (S.R.)
