RTÉ / TG4 at Millstreet Museum this Morning

This morning Grett O'Connor of RTÉ/TG4 requested a brief interview re MS Ireland at Millstreet Museum regarding an uplifting development in the treatment of MS which is being researched in Belfast. From left: Donal and Maura Murphy (Newmarket) of the Cork N.W. Branch of MS Ireland; Cameraman Martin Hartnett and Presenter Grett O'Connor. All going well the interview will feature on RTÉ1 "Nuacht" at 5.45pm this evening and also on TG4's "Nuacht" at 7pm also this evening. Click on the images to enlarge. (S.R.)

Land War hero focus of Major Commemorations – In advance of the unveiling of a new monument to the Bard (near the Kerryman’s Table), the Corkman has a profile of him and his what he did as leader of the Land War in North Cork.  (Details of the unveiling on August 14th)

Three days to go to the start of the European Jumping Championships – the Green Glens Arena is preparing to welcome athletes from nearly thirty nations who are on their way to Ireland to compete in the 2016 FEI European Jumping Championships for Young Riders, Juniors and Children, presented by Devenish and supported by Fáilte Ireland … (July 25th to 31st)

TV: Nicole’s TV interview – Cork TV were in Millstreet to chat with Nicole Ryan to find out more about the ‘Legal Highs Lethal Lows Campaign’, which aims to inform people about the dangers of synthetic drugs. The interview is from 1:00 to 10:00 in the programme.
