Boherbue’s “Music Room” Begins Its New Season in Grand Style

It was Joe Kennelly (standing 5th from left) who wonderfully presented the first excellent programme at Boherbue's "Music Room" on Thursday, 1st Sept. 2016. A capacity audience attended and Tim Murphy extended the official thanks to Joe while Eithne O'Keeffe coordinated the audio discs. Millstreet Gramophone Circle's next presentation is by Con Kelleher of Cloghoulabeg, Millstreet and it takes place on Friday, 30th Sept. at 8.15pm in Millstreet GAA Community Hall. Death Notice: Sheila Doocey, née Bourke of Murphy’s Terrace

The death has occurred of Sheila Doocey (London and late of Murphys Terrace, Millstreet). On Sunday August 28th 2016, peacefully, at her residence. Sheila (Judy) (née Bourke) beloved wife of Noel and sister of Brendan, Tommy, Noreen and the late Breda. Sadly missed by her uncles Denis and Maurice brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and friends. Funeral takes place in London.

Millstreet Adult Learning Centre Open Day

Millstreet Adult Learning Centre is hosting an Open Day

on Thursday 8th September from 10am to 12 noon

at Main Street, Millstreet
( 2 doors up from AISLING gift shop).

Course tutors will be present to explain about upcoming classes and to give information about content of courses, dates, times and necessary criteria. The Adult Learning Centre is run by CETB (Cork Education Training Board) and classes are open to Adults over 18 years and are fully funded.
